Smallbore rifle is the ultimate in precision rifle shooting and marksmanship. It is fired with .22 Long Rifle ammunition and rifles that can range from sporters to Olympic-quality match rifles. There are separate categories based on the types of sights used – either telescopic or iron. Smallbore rifle matches can consist of standing, kneeling, and pone position shooting, but at Terrell we concentrate on shooting from the prone position at distances of 50 and 100 yards.
